As former Research Director of the International Centre for the Study of Coaching at Middlesex University which is a joint project with PDF, I contributed to leading edge research in coaching as well as supervising leading coaches undertaking Doctoral research with the Centre. I also developed a Masters programme in Executive Coaching, which is now available in the USA, South Africa and the UK and the first Professional Doctorate programme in coaching. These innovative programmes are work based and available to experienced coaches. Through my associations with other bodies and PDF I have created accredited programmes for work- based development in a wide range of organisations including professional bodies, major consultancies, multinationals, and public sector and government bodies. Working with the RCVS and SPVS and a group of experienced Vets we built a series of approaches to establish education in the field of general practice – this resulted in the recognition by the RCVS of the field for the CAVP and recently for Advanced Practitioner status.
I have chaired international boards (EFPA and GCC) run several national and international research projects and acted as non executive for a public company as well as chaired Professional Boards.
